Medical Practitioners
The doctors in our practice are members of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and are Vocationally Registered or are working toward this. They have a commitment to general practice and to continuing medicine education, regularly attending postgraduate medical meetings. All doctors have a keen interest in preventative medicine.

Dr Maria Belina
|
Maria Belina has been living in the Gold Coast area for a decade and has been practicing at Ashmore City Medical Centre for the last 17 years. She completed a degree of Doctor of Medicine (MD) and attained a fellowship of The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2007. Dr Belina provides optimal services to all her clients and is a competent doctor in Ashmore. She is passionately interested in Chronic Disease, Aged Care, Children's Health and Women's Health, including Shared Antenatal Care. Maria is highly skilled in the detection, diagnosis and treatment of Skin Cancer. She provides consultations for Skin Lesion Biopsy, Skin Lesion Cautery and Excision of Skin Lesions. She also performs other minor surgeries as well, including Ingrown Toenail Surgery, Implanon insertion and removal. Dr Maria Belina is multilingual and fluent in English as well as Filipino. |

After completing my medical degree in Nepal, I moved to Australia in 2009. Since then I've been calling this beautiful country my home. I've worked in various hospitals of South East QLD before beginning my career in General Practice in 2015. I then completed my post graduate qualifications of FRACGP in QLD. When I am not working I enjoy cooking, travelling and spending time with my 2 sons. |

Dr Geoffrey Fowler |
A graduate of Sydney University. Inspired by my own GP in Sutherland Shire because of his kind warm nature of handling people including myself. His nature made me realise how important caring is to a patient and reasurring. Time was never his issue as long as he looked after those he saw. I worked in the UK for a year as an interesting exercise and volunteered in Indonesia to help those less fortunate than myself. Sydney was a high standard training ground in Australia which set very important learning objectives. I am a family man and I believe in taking a strong interest in the patient's I serve. I have for about 15 years been a race course doctor on the Queensland Coast and NSW - this helped me with acute injury trainings especially when jockeys were injured. |

Dr Robert Haron |
Dr Robert Haron completed his Bachelor of Medicine / Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Queensland in 2012. He received his fellowship of The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2019. As a doctor in Ashmore, Dr Haron is enthusiastic about working with and caring for people in the community. He is well-known for his exceptional skills in minor surgeries. His patients have described him as an excellent doctor with excellent surgery skills. He goes out of his way to make his patients feel comfortable. |
